Purpose of award: To provide financial assistance to students in the District of Columbia who wish to attend either a public university in a different state or a historically Black college or university.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be residents who have lived in the District of Columbia for at least 12 months prior to the beginning of their freshman year of college. Applicants must also either plan to or be currently enrolled at least half-time in an undergraduate or certificate program.

Amount: Up to $10,000.
