Purpose of award: To encourage interest in meteorology among college students.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduates and submit an original student paper on an aspect of atmospheric science. No more than two students from anyone institution may enter papers in anyone contest, and there is no application form needed.

Amount: $1,000.
