Purpose of award: To support Maryland students who are majoring and working in firefighting or emergency medical services fields.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be active firefighters, ambulance or rescue squad members living and serving in the state of Maryland. Students must attend a Maryland college majoring in fire service technology or emergency medical technology. They must continue to serve throughout college and for one year after graduating.
