Purpose of award: To support women who are returning to college after an interruption.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be women who are returning to school after an interruption of at least 48 consecutive months or a total of 50 months excluding interruptions of less than 8 months. Candidates must be working toward a clear educational goal at any University of Michigan campus. Preference is given to women wishing to study in non-traditional fields such as mathematics, physical sciences and engineering.
