Purpose of award: To help children of eligible Abbott employees and retirees worldwide receive a college-level education by providing scholarships on the basis of financial need.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be full- or part-time students at an accredited college, university, community college, vocational school or trade school. Applicants must also be 24 years of age or younger, be the children or dependents of retirees or full-time/part-time employees with at least a year's service to Abbott Laboratories and be residents of the United States or Puerto Rico. Scholarships are awarded according to financial need. Applicants may first apply as high school seniors.
