Purpose of award: To support CTA members as they further their education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be current active members of the California Teachers Association who are attending college. Their coursework must show high academic achievement, although they may explain any extenuating circumstances affecting their grades. Scholarships are awarded based on a personal statement, school and community activities and letters of recommendation.

Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $2,000.
Number of awards: 5.
