Purpose of award: To support African American students who are planning to pursue careers in journalism.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be African American high school seniors, college students or graduate students who plan to pursue careers in journalism and who are journalism majors or in staff positions on the school newspaper or campus television, radio or website.
