Purpose of award: To support graduate study in new uses of remote sensing data or techniques that relate to the natural, cultural or agricultural resources of the Earth.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be prospective or current graduate students and submit letters of recommendation, a two-page statement detailing educational and career plans for continuing studies in remote sensing applications and transcripts. It is also recommended that applicants submit technical papers, research reports or other items that indicate their capabilities. Recipients must submit a report of their work during the award period.
