Purpose of award: To reward exceptional students who have reached the status of Eagle Scout.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must have reached Eagle Scout status, must currently be registered in an active unit and can't have reached their 19th birthday during the year of application. Applicants can apply multiple years as long as they are under the age limit, but the maximum award amount is $8,000. Applicants usually apply at the chapter level. Applicants will be required to submit an essay and four-generation ancestor chart with their application.
Target applicant: Junior high students or younger
High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $2,000-$4,000.
Number of awards: 3.
Deadline: December 31.
