Purpose of award: To help high school students interested in teaching.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be in grades 9-12 and should be interested in teaching or education as a career. Students first register for free at the website. On specified dates, there is a multiple-choice, online quiz competition that tests the student's knowledge in subjects related to teaching: math, language arts, science, history and common knowledge, with some questions from the sponsor's website. Applicants receive 500 points for each correct answer and lose one point for each second taken to complete a question. The person with the most points at the end is the scholarship winner.
