Purpose of award: To support a CSA student member working in the field of North American costume.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be accepted into an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university for the time during which the grant would apply, conduct a research project in the area of North American costume and be members of the Costume Society of America (CSA) in good standing. Applications are judged according to significance of topic, feasibility, time frame, methodology, bibliography, budget, applicants' qualifications and how the research might further the field of costumes.

Amount: $2,000 plus a travel component of up to $500 to attend National Symposium.
