Purpose of award: To support pianists to prepare and qualify for the American National Chopin Piano Competition.
Eligibility requirements: The program is available .to any qualified American pianists age 14 to 17 who are enrolled In secondary or undergraduate institutions as full-time students. Applicants also must study music and major in piano. They must submit applications, statements of career goals, two references, audio tapes, and $25 fees.

Amount: $1,000.
