Purpose of award: To further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be citizens of a country in which there are Rotary clubs and have completed at least two years of college-level' coursework or equivalent professional experience before starting their scholarship studies. Initial applications are made through local clubs. Students must be proficient in the language of the proposed host country.
