Purpose of award: To support Texas high school students who have overcome serious obstacles related to health, family or education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must have actively participated in a 4-H program for at least part of the year. They must have formally applied to a Texas college or university, and they must meet all requirements for admission. Students must provide documentation of the obstacles they have faced.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,500-$15,000.
Number of awards: Varies
Deadline: February 15.
