Purpose of award: To assist Illinois high school seniors.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must write essays and be sponsored by a participating CBAI member bank. There is an essay topic related to community banking, and the short essays are judged on understanding of community banking philosophy, accurate information, clear and concise sentences, logical organization, proper grammar, correct punctuation and spelling and conclusion/summary.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $4,000.
Number of awards: 13.
Deadline: February 13.
