Purpose of award: To provide assistance to needy Washington students who have overcome challenges.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be residents of Washington state who are attending high school at the time of application and have achieved advanced placement toward a degree. They must have financial need, and they must have overcome a disability, handicap or similar challenge. They must plan to use their education to help people.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: Up to $2,000.
Number of awards: Varies
Deadline: March 21.
