Purpose of award: To assist students who are participating in the Chinese language programs offered by the Council Study Centers.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must participate in the Council Study Centers Chinese language programs at Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, or Taipei, have completed two years of college level Mandarin Chinese, be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident, be a junior, senior, or graduate student who plans to pursue further studies or a career related to China, demonstrate high merit, and demonstrate financial need.
