Purpose of award: To provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to study abroad in countries vital to future American security interests.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must prove that they have a serious interest in 'pursuing academic study in a foreign country. Applicants must also be well-versed •in foreign languages and be willing to commit up to a year living overseas.
