Purpose of award: To provide financial aid to high school seniors and introduce them to the fire sprinkler industry.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to attend a U.S. college, university or certified trade school. Students must read the "Fire Sprinkler Essay" available online and then take an online quiz. Applicants receive one entry in the scholarship drawing for each question answered correctly.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $2,000.
Number of awards: 10. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: April 13.
