Purpose of award: To help high school seniors who have participated in a franchised Dixie Boys Baseball Inc. program.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must plan to pursue undergraduate studies at a college or university. An application, financial statement, two recommendation letters, proof of baseball participation, transcript and essay are required. Selection is based on class rankings, strong school and community leadership and financial need. Programs are located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,500.
Number of awards: 11.
Deadline: March 15.
