Purpose of award: To provide assistance to students who meet the criteria of being a "free spirit."
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in journalism and who are "free spirits," defined as those who "dream, dare and do."
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,000-$50,000
