Purpose of award: To increase the number of students studying engineering and pursuing careers in the iron and steel industry.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be juniors in an accredited North American university with a minimum GPA of3.0, and they must demonstrate interest in the iron and steel industry. They must also be eligible for and commit to a summer internship at a steel company in the country in which they are studying.
Target applicant: College students
Adult students
Minimum GPA: 3
Amount: $5,000.
Number of awards: 10. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: March 2.
