Purpose of award: To assist children of families with income below $50,000 in preparing for and paying for college.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be Oklahoma residents who are enrolled in the eighth, ninth or tenth grade at an Oklahoma high school (or are homeschool students between the ages of 13 and 15) and whose parents' income is less than $50,000 per year. They must take certain college preparatory courses in high school, maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher and "stay out of trouble" such as gangs, drugs or alcohol.
