Purpose of award: To assist Mississippi high school seniors in attending public two-year or four-year colleges.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum ACT score of 20 or SAT score of 820, have demonstrated financial need and be accepted as a full-time student at a Mississippi public college or university.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Amount: Full tuition.
Number of awards: Varies
Deadline: March 1.
How to apply: No application is necessary. However, students must mail an essay, resume, high school transcript with ACT or SAT score and FAFSA results to Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211-6453.
