Purpose of award: To recognize high academic performing Maryland students.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school juniors and U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens. Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship and National Achievement Scholarship programs will automatically receive the award if they attend a Maryland institution. Applications must be submitted directly to your high school guidance counselor.
