Purpose of award: To fund research projects in the travel and tourism field.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be enrolled at a travel school, community or junior college, college or university with proof of enrollment in travel courses, have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be residents, citizens or legal aliens of the U.S. or Canada. Research proposals must be based on one of five areas listed on the website. Funds are awarded based on proposals submitted by students which include an abstract! summary on the intended topic of research, purpose of study, methodology, cost of research, objectives and timeline. This may be a school, class or individual project.
