Purpose of award: To support college seniors and graduates pursuing master's degrees in library science.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must either be California residents enrolled in a master's program at an American Library Association-approved library school in any state or residents of any state enrolled in an ALA-approved library school master's program in California. Recipients are expected to pursue a career in reference or information service librarianship and take at least three classes about reference or information service.
