Purpose of award: To allow students to showcase their artistic talents with Appaloosa-themed projects.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants age 18 and under should submit drawings, paintings and hand-built ceramics or sculptures with the Appaloosa theme. There are two age divisions: 13 and under and 14 to 18. Awards are based on originality, creativity and the theme.

High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $250.
