Purpose of award: To increase the number of metallurgy and materials science students in North America and to encourage them to pursue careers in the iron and steel industry.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be college juniors who are majoring in metallurgy or materials science at a North American University. and they must show interest in the iron and steel industry. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be eligible for and commit to a paid summer internship at a North American steel company.

Minimum GPA: 3
Amount: $5.000.
Number of awards: 10. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: March 2.
