Purpose of award: To recognize outstanding student works in criminology.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students. The writing competition requires applicants to write on a topic directly related to criminology and must be accompanied by a letter signed by the dean or department chair. Other paper formatting requirements are listed on the website. The first place winner also receives a travel award.

Amount: $200-$500.

How to apply: There is no application form. Paper must be mailed in. The paper specifications are on the website.
