Purpose of award: To encourage high school students to pursue careers in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must enter as full-time freshmen the following fall and major in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. Applicants should submit applications, transcripts, recommendation letter, and SAT or equivalent scores.

Amount: $5,000.
