California Scholarships for Health Professions

The Health Professions Education Foundation offers a number of scholarships and loan repayment programs for health professional students and grads. Program recipients provide direct patient care in a medically underserved area for one to four years. Current heath professionals accepted or enrolled in an accredited California college are eligible to apply for these awards.

Most applications require documentation of prior academic performance, work experience, community involvement, career ambitions, financial need and ability to commit to practicing in a medically underserved area.
