Various scholarship amounts are awarded to students whose parents died in service to their community, state or nation. Recipients must be Arkansas students. The Arkansas Service Memorial Fund is based on leadership, academic merit and financial need. To obtain or send a scholarship applicaton,, mail to Arkansas Community Foundation, Attention: Arkansas Service Memorial Fund, 1400 W. Markham Street, Suite 206, Little Rock, AR 72201.
You can also download a scholarship application from the Arkansas Community Foundation at www.arcf.org which is submitted with a page describing your extracurricular activities and goals, your birth certificate, a current transcript, a letter verifying the circumstances of your parent's death and the death certificate.
