Purpose of award: To reward student members of the Appaloosa Youth Association or the Appaloosa Horse Club who are pursuing higher education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be members of the Appaloosa Youth Association or the Appaloosa Horse Club and must attend or plan to attend an institute of higher learning.
Target applicant: High school students
Graduate school students
College students
Adult students
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Amount: $1,000-$2,000.
Number of awards: 9. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: June 10.
