Purpose of award: To support Hispanic students who plan to enter the journalism field.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be current college sophomores. Recipients are required to intern at a Newhouse newspaper the summer following their junior year. The program provides a stipend to attend NAHJ's annual convention.

Amount: $5,000.
