Purpose of award: To help students who are seeking careers in horticulture.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be in an undergraduate or graduate landscape horticulture program or related field at a two or four-year California state university or college. Applicants must also be current, full-time students, academically competitive and have a minimum 2.25 GPA and a minimum 2.7 GPA in the major. Preference is given to applicants who plan to work in the nursery industry after graduation. Applicants must submit applications, cover letters, resumes, transcripts, and two recommendation letters.
