Under the personal supervision of internationally acclaimed top researchers, our PhD candidates are encouraged to do pioneering and innovative research. They are trained in one of five key fields of management: Business Processes, Logistics & Information Systems; Organisation; Marketing; Finance & Accounting; or Strategy & Entrepreneurship.
ERIM offers its PhD candidates excellent research facilities, including a state-of-the-art behavioural lab and advanced survey technology. In addition, a special support programme pays for research expenses like conference visits, international research visits, and data collection.
All ERIM’s PhD students are paid a competitive salary. Also, we support the further development of our students’ academic careers, for example by financing an international job market visit.
Eligibility
Potential PhD candidates hold a Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to their PhD project, have obtained excellent study results, and are highly motivated to do scientific research.
Application Procedure
The application needs to be submitted online and, after this, to be sent by regular mail. For the online application, you will need to upload several files. Note that you will have to have electronic versions available of most of the required documents, for example, scans. Only one file per required document is allowed, so that you may have to merge several documents into one. Uploaded files are preferably in the pdf format (a free pdf printer can be found at CutePDF), although MS Word and jpeg is also accepted.
