Description
The UK 9/11 Scholarships Fund seeks to award scholarships to children or dependants of victims of the September 11 attacks on the USA, or other subsequent terrorist tragedy, for study at higher or further education institutions in the UK.
The Scholarships cover funding for full-time study leading to a degree at undergraduate or master’s level (or equivalent further education) at recognised higher education institutes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Scholarships provide funding to cover the following: Tuition fees, Travel to and from country of residence, Stipend for living expenses and accommodation while in the UK
Eligibility
The scholarship is targetted to the children or dependants of victims of the September 11 attacks on the USA, or other subsequent terrorist tragedy.

You should start considering your 9/11 Scholarship application around 18 months before the intended course start date e.g. Grade 10 at high school in USA or while you are in your second year of undergraduate study

- A birth certificate detailing your parents’ names
- A death certificate for your parent/guardian lost in the 9/11 tragedy
- Supporting medical and financial documentation if your parent/guardian has been permanently injured as a result of the 9/11 tragedy
