Purpose of award: To encourage heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be full-time undergraduates majoring in engineering or engineering technology or graduate students in a related course of study approved by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or another accrediting agency recognized by ASHRAE with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on financial need, leadership, character and potential contribution to the heating, ventilating, air conditioning or refrigeration profession. Applicants must also submit recommendations from instructors.
