Purpose of award: To reward students for essays that demonstrate their love of the Appaloosa breed.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be 18 and under and should submit entry forms and essays on the provided themes. There are two age divisions: 13 and under and 14 to 18. Awards are based on originality and accuracy.
Target applicant: Junior high students or younger
High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $250.
