Description
Scholarship for Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) Public Housing residents or Housing Choice participants who are attending or plan to attend a post-secondary college, university or technical school. Applicants must be a Texas resident and have financial need. Students who are currently attending college must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or greater. Submit an official transcript, two letters of recommendation with contact information (non-family members only), and a typed essay with application packet. Student must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Number of awards and award amount varies. Can mail application to the listed address or hand-deliver to HACA Front Desk Attendant, 1640-B East 2nd Street.
