Description
You have the unique opportunity to define your own PhD project in mathematics in cooperation with a DTU Mathematics supervisor of your choice. The process is that you contact a possible supervisor at the department, discuss your ideas for a PhD project and draw up a short PhD project description of maximum one page.
We offer you a developing and challenging job in an international environment where approximately half of our PhD students are from abroad. The tone of communication among our staff is informal and cooperative with emphasis on a positive as well as inspiring academic working atmosphere.
The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for PhD degree students. The period of employment is three years.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this position You should have a master’s degree in mathematics, applied mathematics, engineering or equivalent academic qualifications.
