Description
The Centex Homes/National Housing Endowment Build Your Future Scholarship is available to students who are pursuing study in a housing-related program, such as construction management, residential building, construction technology, civil engineering, architecture or another trade specialty at a college or university. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in all courses and a minimum 3.0 GPA in core curriculum courses to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students who demonstrate interest in residential construction through one or more of the following activities: experience/internship in the industry such as trades, laborers, clerks, estimators or other related positions; membership and participation in service organizations/activities related to the building industry; or current members of a Student Chapter of the National Association of Home Builders.
