Do you have a funny friend or relative that just doesn’t know the lyrics to a song, but they always try to sing them? Well, instead of making fun of them, write down what they said and post it on our Facebook wall.
We are offering a $500-scholarship to the worst/funniest interpretation of lyrics that you, your friend or relative has ever said. To submit an entry, post the name of the song, the artist, and at least a couple lines of how those hilarious lyrics were sung by the person.
I remember my mother with her Eastern-European accent used to sing Britney Spears’ Oops I did it Again. Somehow she heard the chorus as,“Whooops, I do that so good. I played in my heart. So lost and it’s game. You pray from above. Is not so innocent!”
Her tempo was off, she made an embarrassment of the lyrics, but you know what? She absolutely loved that song, and made life hilarious for her kids for a few minutes.
