Description
Scholarship for full-time undergraduate and graduate students attending a two- or four-year institution in Texas. Applicants must submit an essay on the topic, "Overcoming Affirmative Action." Essays will be evaluated on the student's understanding of racial and gender preferences in light of American traditions and how the student has worked to overcome the adversity created by such preferences. First, second and third place winners will be selected.
