If you dream of an out-of-state education, this just might be your ticket! Do you have good grades, good PSAT scores, and can you substantiate financial need? Then you may qualify for this program. The award may be used for undergraduate study in a 2 or 4-year designated institution. These include those in-state as well as those eligible in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.
To qualify you must be a high school senior who ranks in the top 20% of your class or have a minimum of 1800 SAT score or minimum 27 ACT score. You must also complete an FAFSA application – www.fafsa.ed.gov. Contact your guidance counselor or the Connecticut Department of Higher Education, www.ctdhe.org, for more information.
